    Encore has some of the absolute worst songs of his career, but most of the half he recorded before he got heavy into pills holds up with his first three. It’s just hard to rank an album that’s half utter dogshit and half good. It’s like two albums jammed into one and poorly sequenced.

    Worst songs of his career? Sure the content is immature on many of them but sonically it’s probably his best sounding album. Even songs like rain man are musically catchy, there’s a reason Just Lose It is still a fan favorite even though it’s lyrically repugnant.
    Even My first single has some of the catchiest flows he’s used (shadys the label, aftermath is the stable, where the horses come out of err uh, of course I’m about to stir up).
    Encore Eminem was still a good musician. Even relapse he was still a decent musician. When he lost his confidence due to the accent backlash and started screaming to cover up his vocal damage on recovery he lost his ear for music.

    It’s really crazy how Em was able to make Stepping Stone sound so 2003 in 2018.

    Apart from the lyrics about proofs death and d12 being over that song could have been on TES or Encore and the sound of it would fit right in
