    I said before on this forum that I personally don't give a s--- about an album being cohesive or 'filler songs' or whatever. I mostly listen to songs individually so if an album has 12 songs I hope it has 12 songs I like regardless if they fit the theme or whatever. Normal is ok to me, nice guy horrible, good guy decent. So yeah I don't mind them either.

    But if we are discussing the theme of the album, to me it feels like things he wanted to get off his chest. And that's what he did; MGK, new rappers, trump, academic... and giving the D12 subject closure. For that it perfectly fits the album, where the 3 songs about nothing don't.

    Deja Vu imo also doesn't fit really on Relapse. It's a song thats actually about him relapsing , personally and g.d. amazing. Most of the other songs are him being an arabic (?) serial killer lol.

    Just listened to it. Not even skipping a song. I gotta say tho, production is one of the keys of the success of Kamikaze. Beats are really good compared to previous Em albums since Relapse. That helps a lot with the replay value.

    Recovery / Relapse / Kamikaze - find it hard to pick a favourite. Depends on mood.

    MMLP2 and Revival were not very good.

    The fact he can pull off that ‘Die MFer!’ the exact same as Go To Sleep made me happy and pissed at the same time lol knew he was still in there this whole time.

    That part gets me every time! Feel the exact same way!! I'm honestly frustrated he hasn't brought that s--- back for an entire verse at least once.

    We sometimes get glimpses of the old Em at times. But it only last a few seconds.

    I remember back when he dropped Relapse and everyone thought the old Em was gone. Then a few weeks/months later he drops The Warning and I was like wtf? Why didn't you rap this way on Relapse?

    For Eminem's next album he needs to stop relying on other people doing hooks for him.

    On Revival he had like 8 songs where somebody else did the hook, Remind Me basically ripped off another hook so wasn't completely original in my opinion, Revival interlude was just some chick singing the whole time and In Your Head was a sample. So he had like 12 tracks where he didn't do his own hook.

    For a full album, that doesn't really show someone's creative and artistic side. Even though some of the other people's hooks were okay, it can come off as lazy. It's sort of an easy building block for his verses when there is a hook already on it when he gets the beat.

    Eminem has always been very talented when it comes to hooks and melodies so I hope he can find that balance again for his next album.

    Kamikaze. As good as the production and some songs, never was a fan of that accent. If it was on just few songs that'd be ok but it's almost on every song. Kamikaze is easily his 4th best album and my fav album for now after TES.

    I am waiting for a new interview from Eminem, where he admits that Kamikaze was a bad album and will step foot on the cover of Kamikaze.

    s---!!! Why did he speak badly about Relapse and Revival - about albums that I liked the most in the last 10 years !!!

    Relapse is a good Album too but Kami is the eminem that i wanted for years.
