    Relapse had a poor concept that was driven down even worse with poor execution. The redeeming factors are the beats and you could reach and say the flow. But the flow is only in caparison to his later work, not the previous work.

    Kamikaze had hunger and a concept that was executed for the most part very well.

    So yeah, I favour Kamikaze by quite a margin.

    If Relapse was just concept 5-6 songs EP it would be alright, LP full of serial killer vibes is too much. Thank God for Deja Vu, Beautiful and Underground, the rest is just okay at best. In my eyes, Recovery was his proper comeback, that being said - Kamikaze > Relapse. Kamikaze has that old, angry Em vibes.

    Do you guys think that since Em’s Abu Dhabi concert is part of the Kamikaze tour and is happening towards the end of October that we won’t see a new album drop till after the tour is over? If so, then that’s f---ing disappointing.

    I believe so, yes. However i didnt think a new album would drop before then anyway. But i still think it’s possible for them to drop something like BME2 or Shady20 or something if they want to. Some kind of sideproject

    Relapse easily. If you don’t agree, your taste in music is really bad. Including refill, Kamikaze doesn’t have a single song as good as DeJa Vu, My Mom, Careful what you wish for, my darling, and probably music box. Just imagine if relapse 2 would have been using his normal voice like on careful what you wish for and my darling. It sounded like classic Eminem. And coccaine had potential to be big if he finished the track and if they had the final mix to the track it could have sounded really good.

    Here's the great thing about Eminem and why he's so popular...He switches it up all the time and has a little bit of everything for everybody. Genius. Instead of ALWAYS rapping about Weed, cars, and money on EVERY single album and song.

    Relapse is my preference. Kamikaze is better, and his most consistently good album since TES.

    Relapse was a great concept for a come-back album. Returning to music, returning to Shady, all while documenting his real life struggles with addiction... it might be his best concept imo. Execution certainly let it down of course.

    Its such an easy and unfair thing to say but Relapse could have been a great 10-12 track album

    I don't care about another Bad Meets Evil album. I'm more curious about his follow-up to Kamikaze. He's in a weird spot. He can't f---in' drop a dud and another Kamikaze type album the next year again..his next one has to be good.

    If you choose 10-12 best tracks (Relapse+Refill), then it will probably be his best album in his career. This is much better than Kamikaze, which even cannot be called a good album.

    They know he has to deliever. Kamikaze saved his career after Revival. I think they are being careful before putting out another Em album, they want ro ride the Kami success. However i do believe they could release a sideproject like bme2 or something
