As recently as... I think it was a Revival Shade 45 interview with Em and Paul - Paul alluded to exactly how it goes down. Said something like ''I usually go to Em with the ideas, from the business people'' or some s--- and said ''it's usually no'' but then explained how he convinces Em, and then Em said ''and Paul is usually right''. Paul convinces Em to work with f---ing pop stars and do all the s--- he did Recovery to Revival.

Obviously when Relapse didn't hit as Em intended, he probably went ''okay I'll listen now'' and started taking direction on commercial s--- which he had ignored or said no to up to that point - because his own s--- just worked.

Paul was the one who made River happen, Beyonce happen, all this s---. He emailed Ed Sheeran like 'got any ideas?', he pitches pop stars and convinces Em to work with them.

it's not delusion, it's been said and implied and it's standard hollywood BS. Tarantino once explained how the suits in the movie world work, sounds very similar; like he will have his cast members and they'll be like ''okay but is there any reason why you don't want to do it with Tom Cruise'' for example, like just based on what name is hot vs. artistic integrity. Sounds very similar to what has been happening with Em from Recovery on.

Eminem needs to drop some boom bap s--- soon. Westside Gunn, Conway, Joell Ortiz ride over some of the best made boom bap beats and I f---ing hate Em doesn't rap on such beats.
