The dude is an actually great storyteller. He's making songs that no one else (currently) is making, and they actually have a POINT in addition to sounding good.

I really hate when people call Joyner corny but don't say why, because then it just seems like they hate that he's making songs that require more than a brain stem to listen to.

If I have to explain why he's corny then you are a cornball too.

His whole ADHD as a kid thing recently, he talks about it like he had some sort of terminal disease. It's so over the top.

Mostly just his raps though, he tries waaay to hard and executes these ideas in cringe worthy ways. You think I'm going to bump "Not a Racist" anywhere? He is just as bad as Logic and his biracial thing. People hear fast raps and think it's some thing great when it's just mostly just filler.

He's for dumb people who think they are "woke", kind of like flat earthers and anti vaccine people.

I agree. I thought he wasnt bad on lucky me so i went and checked some of his songs. His whole thing is "I am smarter than you, I'm different" but doesnt actually back it up. It gets old fast.

Joyner Lucas is one of the best upcoming emcees rn.
His storytelling is incredible.
He can make conceptual hip hop.
He can just go and spit all that lyrical miracle s---.
He can make bangers and also can have catchy hooks.

Your do realize that rapping and hip hop is about sharing your life with someone??? No matter how trivial it is, you can share your stories with the world by putting it on the wax.

And it isn't like ADHD is something as light as the common cold. It's a psychological disorder that effects a kid's education, his life.

What level ? He wastes his good music. He should drop an album. He even gets an Em feature now.

I'm Not Racist and some other songs of his are album worthy materials.

I have listened to the guy's every song on Spotify, I don't see him trying hard and executing ideas in cringeworthy ways at all. I'm Not Racist is not for you to bump anywhere, it's for you to actually listen. It's not a song with replay value but it's 10/10 anyway. U call mostly filler but he is one of the few rappers I can actually listen to the words and understand what he talks about. If you call his s--- filler than %90 of the rappers are just filling the songs with non sense anyway. He doesn't really have that much of fast raps anyway. You just never really listen to his Joyner Come Along or that 508 album and act like u know too much about the guy. It's obvious, you only heard his hit rap song covers like Gucci g--- and popular videos like I'm Not Racist.

Btw, Logic is a rapper I never actually got into. Joyner is a lot more fun to listen to...

He just listened to some Gucci g--- s--- of his those songs where jumps on those hit songs beats and he has seen some of his videos actin like he knows about Joyner's music. I checked his 2 albums out and non of the things that guy says are actually true.

Bro don’t try and justify your musical tastes to other people who will never understand. It’s 2018 bro. People have to hate on something to make themselves feel better. More so in this era than any other. Joyner Lucas is half white so of course automatically corny. That’s at least according to the edgy crowd. Same with logic. Same with em. Same with hopsin (Black yes but sounds like em). Notice the pattern? Lol.
