And plus saying a white (or any ethnicity) rapper cant be better than a black rapper is like saying black people can't be better than white people at whatever they are predominant in. The article says that Eminem introduced the cypher (guessing he didn't kick a verse?) and that Budden didn't respond to any of Em's disses. My question is, were they in the same room for this? If so, then that must have been awk af. Assuming all of this is true, of course.

Review: Kamikaze

It was December 15 of 2017 where Eminem released an album so bad I couldn't even listen to it more than once. At that time I realized that Eminem became someone he used to hate, he became someone his younger self would have dissed. Revival was rap songs full of pop-stars, weird content, and awful Alex Da Kid and Rick Ruben production. I get what he was trying to do but the execution was awful. After Relapse dropped in 2009 and unfortunately bashed by most critics at the time (Relapse to me is one of his best) Em ditched the Dr. Dre beats for more poppy production and features each album after.

On August 31st Eminem surprise drops on us all, a music industry kamikaze. BOOM. The album starts of with The Ringer with Eminem rapping straight for 5+ Minutes dissing everyone and it was glorious. Greatest is a good song with a meh hook. Lucky You is also better than everything on Revival, though for some reason Eminem continues to use this super fast rappity rap flow that he never used to do until MMLP 2. I don't know why he does this, it's almost cringy, I don't listen to Em for fast raps. Stepping Stone sounds like it could have been from the Encore era, The song Fall is one of the best on the album, he goes after mutiple people in the industry and that is where Em is at his best, not showcasing a cringy rap flow but dissing people and spitting bars. Good Guy is unlistenable, I have no clue why he thought it was a good idea to put that song on here but he did and its trash (I replaced it with Killshot on Spotify). Venom is another good song with a meh hook.

Though there are no Dre beats on this is album, it was executive produced by Dr.Dre. Kamikaze could have been better than it is especially if Dre was picking the songs but it's still a step in the right direction for Eminem (He needs to stay the h--- away from Rick Ruben). I'm interested in what Em's next album will sound like, hopefully we get him on some actual Dr.Dre production.
