My response was to your erroneous claim that "black racism" has contributed to the degradation of hip-hop. Mumble rappers are being put on for a very particular reason; strings are being pulled and audiences are being manipulated. Look beyond the calculated facades of mainstream channels (instagram, youtube, etc.) and rap media as a whole and you'll see what lies beneath the mask of the entertainment industry. As consumers, our consumption styles, patterns, and habits are tracked.. entire audiences are farmed and communities are manufactured around the fetishization of baseless, superficial archetypes. The cultural cost is staggering.

I could continue but this forum isn't the appropriate venue.

Also, yes I understand what you're saying and the phrase you're looking for is "the medium is the message" - again, thats why it's popular, but the f---ing impossible conundrum I'm trying to solve is why does mumble rap exist in the first place? and why was it accepted at all?...labels will push whats hot...but white owned labels didnt create gangsta rap in the 90's, they just exploited and sold the s--- out of it because it was becoming popular...oh and hey dont try n make this all about your boring conspiracy theories and not all about my fun disingenuous ones, yo...not cool

It's not a song I'd listen to except when I'm listenin' to the whole album but it's kinda good. I like the outro beat. I like the singing type of flow by Em. I like the fact that it's not that long. It's just a fun song to me but definitely one of the weakest songs on the album.

His flow is very jarring on the record though, like that fluidity in delivery he had on The Ringer, Lucky You, Fall is lacking. Em doesn't seem to realise it still, but but that staccato flow is one of the prime reasons, Revival s----d, not because of poppy music, or corny puns, or poorly produced beats, but that trash flow.

That hook on Venom is fire though
