    He's lost touch with his roots. The only time he sees 8-Mile is when he sees it on tv (his movie) while working out in his mansion rather than visiting the physical 8-Mile Road.

    Em mentions it himself by the “revival didn’t go viral” and gave Kendrick credit as a writer.

    Tbh honest though I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Em decides to call himself the greatest in the world on the one Kendrick sounding song on the album :westbrook:

    also should not underestimate the fact that Em could do more things outside of rap to end MGKs career if he wanted to, but not sure he actually wants to go there

    Pretty much, there is no way he would give MGK half a verse on Kamikaze if he wasnt ready to go all the way. You cant drop the album he just did and then not respond when someone comes at you. He's ready.

    dont think it matters if its good or not, he called him out, plain as day. Em's supposed to this battle rap god, he'll never be able to live it down if he doesnt respond, especially at this point in his career
