    I actually like Joe Budden. I’d even go as far as to say he’s “dope”. But if he comes out of retirement because Eminem got under his skin then that’s not a good look. YKnow what else isn’t a good look? Responding on a f---ing podcast lmao. Kinda a Lose/Lose for Joe.

    Also, the whole idea of a “Rapper turned rap critic” is the most ridiculous f---ing concept I can think of. Joe can actually rap tho so it’s passable. I definitely know some rapper turned rap critics on this very site. Sad!

    I agree, pretending em hasnt given any real content is on the same level of absurdity as saying kanye and jay haven’t given any content since 08, which is just not true lol. It’s a bad criticism and it’s a reach

    people act like his earlier albums had the keys to changing the world or some sociopolitical insights and every detail of his life on every single song. Of course they were more sonically pleasing but acting like Headlights, Beautiful, GTC, Castle/Arose, Deja Vu, etc don’t exist

    Stepping stone is definitely not old. Parts of the flow in the second and third verses reek of 2018

    And porter also said it was new and just worked on it recently because em wasn’t gonna do it, cuz he was afraid of upsetting the remaining D12 members
