Well, you should because there's recent history to show that they matter. Like WPG pointed out earlier, Obama wasn't popular in 2010 and Republicans won in a historic landslide in the midterms. Trump is much more unpopular than Obama was then.

Also, I don't know where everyone gets this idea that polls showed Clinton winning a landslide. The night before the election, polls had her 4 percentage points ahead, almost unanimously. That's not a "landslide" lead. FiveThirtyEight published an article the week of the election explaining that Trump was only a standard polling error away from winning the election which is EXACTLY what happened. Like, why are you making s--- up? Lol

Now you're changing your argument lol. You went from "polls showed trump losing in a landslide" to "polls showed trump losing." I know polls showed trump losing -- I said that in my last post. What you and a lot conservatives keep throwing out there is that polls had him "losing in a land slide" when they most certainly did not lol. I even linked you to a 538 article published before Election Day explaining how a Trump win wouldn't be improbable. You need to stop reading headlines and reacting to them and actually read the articles themselves lol.

70-30 sounds about right. A 30% chance of winning is not nothing. To put that in perspective, the Cavs had less of chance last year in the finals when they were down 3-1 and they won. The Cubs had less of a chance of winning the World Series last year when they were down 3-1 and they did. This is all probability; what's likely to happen, does not always happen.
