Is this a joke? Trump's GOP was actually willing to properly address the “Dreamers” issue by sending it to Congress for a stable, long-term fix, unlike Obama who was unwilling to work with the legislature on this. The Democrats’ answer to the immigration issue to this day is literally open borders and blanket amnesty. They still don't realize that the American public isn't on board with this. It's not just conservatives; centrists and apolitical people likewise don't support continuing Obama's immigration policies, i.e., blanket amnesty and taking in limitless swarms of refugees. They'd rather have a wall.

Seriously?

1. Perhaps the worst and most dishonest president in US history declaring that Russia meddled in our election makes me doubt the claim even more. Besides, how the f--- would he know? As an ex-president he wouldn't have access to the ‘top-secret information’ the intel community supposedly has on Russian hacking, so what ‘clear evidence’ is he referring to?

2. This shitfuck killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians and sent tens of thousands of US soldiers to their deaths on a lie, but I'm supposed to believe he (or anyone who gives him a pass) gives a flying f--- about immigrants?

There’s a difference between not being skeptical enough & openly advocating/pushing the war. The media as a whole 100% deserves blame for the reporting on Iraq/WMDs etc. One of the best interviews i’ve ever seen was Jon Stewart interviewing Judith Miller in 2015. He relentlessly came after her for her article in the NYT on 9/8/2002. It was an iconic paper:



With that being said, the outlets Res mentioned are guilty of much more than simply not being skeptical enough. They really sold the war to the American public.

They all shilled for the Iraq war. They were all complicit. Fox News' warmongering was only more pronounced because they were overtly partial to the Bush Administration, while the NYT had to maintain an appearance of opposition. At the end of the day these are all just for-profit multinational corporations.

Cheney lied to the NYT... by leaking false information to them leading up to the Iraq War... Cheney lied to congressmen saying Saddam had suitcase nukes and could launch an attack on America in under 45 minutes.

Valery Plame cover was blown and her and her husband were vilified for telling the truth about Iraq's WMDs.

Cindy Sheehan's son was killed in the Iraq War and she had the audacity to ask "why" and your piece of s--- homie Sean Hannity and the rest of Fox News and the "Conservative" Entertainment Complex ruined her life.

Cheney, Rumsfield, Wolfowitz... every Neocon lied and cheated to get the Iraq War started.


Before the War started if you were against it you were considered "Unpatriotic", Un-American", "treasonous", a "trooper hater", a "Liberal commie" and "forgot about 9/11."


Between 2004 and 2008 the Iraq War was the defining issue if you were for staying in Iraq you were Republican, if you wanted to leave you were a Democrat.

Fox News and the rest of the CEO was 100% pro-Iraq War 100% of the time and called all Democrats and Ron Paul "cut n' run, terrorist sympathizers."



Obama was the direct opposite of Bush... he ended the Iraq War. His Presidential opponent, John McCain said we should stay in Iraq for 100 years.
