Jul 28, 2016 I love both. UK's quality all the way through while US had a few peaks but also a lot of dud seasons. I do however revisit the US version a lot more. The replay-ability of seasons one to five is off the charts.
Jul 28, 2016 typical fat americans making interviews of themselves! oh well i guess stereotypes are there for a reason!
Jul 28, 2016 UK version was very boring, and I love Gervais as a comedian. I watched it through and it never pulled me in like the US version. This argument is usually"hipsterish" because the UK did it first.
Jul 28, 2016 UK version can be so hard to watch sometimes I think the US version appeals to more people though
Jul 28, 2016 exactly what i mean i dont mean its hard to watch cause its s---, its cause its so d--- awkward, i never stop watching tho
Jul 29, 2016 the original was a really good show but what Carell did with his character is just outstanding also Jim and Pam love story is awesome (I can relate to it a lot haha) and Dwight
Jul 31, 2016 Michael Scott and Dwight are the best characters and super awkward though...It's just a humor culture barrier I think
Jul 31, 2016 sounds pretty shallow but i just cant watch it cause of the accents i have no british friends cause they all talk like fa----s
Jul 31, 2016 to be fair you pretty much say the same thing about americans but more passive aggressively
Jul 31, 2016 US version is the most replayable and quotable show of all time for me. Nothing makes me laugh more even on the 100th time through. First 7 seasons are classic to me; season 8 is pretty good; season 9 has its s-----y stuff like the Jim/Pam/boom mic guy s--- but even that has some great laughs in every episode. I have only seen about half of the UK eps, it was pretty funny from what I remember though.
Jul 31, 2016 I'm Aussie as well and like the U.S. version better U.S. had way more seasons enabling it 2 make the show have more depth and storyline unlike the UK version which felt like a mini series despite being the original
