Feb 3, 2023 I’ve only played maybe a little bit of the first game years ago. I recognized the events of the first two episodes but that’s about it. I don’t really care about spoilers though. I kinda wanna go back and play the game now but I might just wait for this season of the show to end first.
Feb 3, 2023 Dont, I played the game and it really stops me from enjoying the series a little bit tbh Dont get me wrong the series is freaking great (so far), but for whatever reason I constantly compare what I see with what I played in the first game and it really hampers the enjoyment. I think not knowing anything is perfect for new fans of the franchise.

Feb 4, 2023 Problem with the game, it’s structured as a TV show. Part 2 will work 100 times better as TV show than as a game, as the writing and story is suited for it. Issues of wanting to play Joel or Ellie longer won’t be a issue as it’s not a game. Pacing and story beats too will work better in show than in game.

Feb 7, 2023 This show does such a good job at world-building for immersion. It’s so easy to f--- something like this up. Things like all the abandoned cars on the roads, every building being dilapidated, the piles of bones everywhere, etc. all make me feel like I am part of the world and on the journey with the characters. If they cheaped out anywhere on the set design, it could’ve f--- things up majorly
Feb 7, 2023 Good Episode. The stories, writing and lore is all on point. Not a fan of the PG violence of the show though, make it obvious too. Only down mark for me so far in the show. The world being visceral and brutal is part of what makes Last Of Us great and don’t see how they go PG for later scenes and eventually part 2, when it’s one of the main themes.
Feb 7, 2023 I haven’t noticed the PG violence, nice job pointing that out. Since I haven’t noticed I really haven’t had a problem with it yet, but you’re right, it could definitely be a problem down the line. Although this is HBO, I don’t know why they would shy away from that sort of thing
