n----- i'm not a stan. You have to be a simple a--- n----- to arrive at that conclusion simply because I support the claim that TES is one of the best hip-hop albums of all time period. You clearly have no idea what i listen to also. If you think I only listen to Eminem than you're f---ing stupid.
In the past 24 hours i've had the following artists on rotation:

Mac Miller
Massive Attack
Erothyme
SZA
Swans
Neroche
and more...

My dislike of young thug has little correlation to my overall taste in music, which is vast and covers a wide scope of genres and time periods. Everyone who posts on forums aren't close minded, one dimensional fan boys like yourself.

dark fantasy is this tortured, indulgent, layered treatise on fame and race and how those two things intersect. the eminem show has some of that--white america, obviously--but the ideas are, for the most part, reduced down to pop-culture items that are really only insightful inasmuch as they speak to the trl audience of the time. people have got on narsh's back for borrowing my descriptor ("melodramatic"), but they shouldn't. it's obvious, it's pervasive, and it works to the album's detriment. how many times can you listen to cleaning out my closet without rolling your eyes or picturing eminem as a middle schooler? when the music stops? soldier? even sing for the moment? the production is middling at best. there are undeniably bad songs (say what you say, drips, business). this is painfully middle-of-the-road rap music. by contrast, dark fantasy is one of the most staggering albums of the last ~10 years.
