actually going through my list, i cant find any drama show i love that is on a network channel .. is this like a troll thread @WPG ? the title means nothing if its up against like 2 other shows

but anyway, battlestar galactica is a better drama...and thats on network

Doesnt matter West Wing is better than both...sucks Sorkin will never do tv again.

I think I agree with @WPG I love House and Homicide but WW is prolly the goat network show.

Wells did some pretty dumb stuff with it at the end though...CJ as chief of staff, Toby as the nasa leak, etc

i actually like studio 60 despite its obvious flaws. hard to top sports night, although it certainly lacked west wings sense of prestige/purpose

in terms of best network drama... dunno if you count the likes of MASH, rockford, ER... those def up there, at least serialized shows. twilight show?

I only watched sports night reruns on comedy central. I liked it. I tried so hard to get into west wing and couldn't even though I liked all the actors involved. I hated studio 60... And it was a victim of having the same subject matter as 30 rock which was awesome.

I loved the pilot and remember thinking at the time it was one of the better pilots in a long time. Even the next couple episodes I remember being decent but s--- fell off quick and by the middle of the season it was pretty awful.

The West Wing being the greatest network drama isn't exactly a great accomplishment. Barely has any competition.
