I love when Brick Top shows up at the pawn shop or w/e after the guys k--- Frankie, and starts dropping hints about pigs, corpse disposal, mentions his own pig farm, and drops one of my favorite quotes from a movie..

"Do you know what nemesis means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent, personified in this case by a 'orrible c----, me."

Realistically, that movie would've never ended that way, whether they were part of his tribe or not, no one could understand enough of what Brad Pitt's character said to mastermind such a brilliant scheme. It's awesome that he got his vengeance, but in a movie where half the cast was already butchering the English language with sissy British f-- accents, he was a pain to interpret.

Great characters all around though, lol. I know we've gotten a little off track, but what was the guy who was impossible to s---t? Boris the Bullet Dodger? Then there was Vinnie Jones playing the other cat, "Now, d----s have drive and clarity of vision, but they are not clever. They smell p---- and they want a piece of the action. And you thought you smelled some good old p----, and have brought your two little mincey fa---- balls along for a good old time. But you've got your parties muddled up. There's no p---- here, just a dose that'll make you wish you were born a woman. Like a prick, you are having second thoughts. You are shrinking, and your two little balls are shrinking with you. And the fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your guns... And the fact that I've got 'Desert Eagle point five O' written down the side of mine, should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence... Now, f--- off!"

Episode 8 airs tomorrow. It's been incredible, man. And yeah, Tom Hardy is always reliable when seeking something worth watching. He could play the non speaking role of "Grass" in a 4th Grade Musical based on "Aladdin" and I'd watch that s--- just cause he's credited. I imagine it'd be even better to binge watch because it's packed such a huge story into an 8 part mini-series, and there's an overwhelming sense of suspense between each episode. Seriously, it's almost unbearable to even imagine his next move because he's such a strategic genius in the role, not to mention, fearless, completely feared by his peers, and totally indifferent to the consequences of his associates stating at one point that "Anyone I keep around me deserves what's coming to them..."

I don't see them really wrapping everything up in a neat bow by the time the credits roll tomorrow, but I also feel a huge chunk of this show is meant to be interpreted by the viewer... His past is very vague at first, but small pieces come together over time.. But they leave a lot of it up to the viewer to speculate on what happened to him before the series starts, and what truly pushes him forward through the story as he dodges every betrayal thrown at him, while inspiring madness and despair among a city full of enemies, trusting a select few just enough to get the wheels in motion towards an end game that I prepare will remain unclear until the very last second.

I don't know why I write like I'm reviewing s--- for some bs newspaper. I blame Swoll for making me step my description game up tbh.

The ending was a little anticlimactic I thought? Maybe I need to watch again..and now they're saying they're making a second season which is strange, considering they killed most of the main characters

Tom Hardy has confirmed that there will be a second series of ‘Taboo’ – and has described it as ‘explosive’.

Amid reports that Hardy reportedly ‘lost £2million’ making Taboo and that the BBC were yet to confirm whether or another another season of the hit show would be made, the actor and producer has now revealed that the next series is coming – and will pick up as James Delaney and the ragtag band of friends and criminals try to settle in America.

“In my mind, explosive stuff is going to happen, which will be great, should it happen,” producer Stephen Knight told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s a great destination for it, but I don’t know if we’re in a position to talk about the actual details of it.”

Hardy then added: “We’re onto the next stage. The key really is Colonnade. When he says, ‘We are Americans’, James is very ambiguous with how much information he’s going to give. In his mind, you will know when the time is right.”
