Apr 14, 2017 Time to reach. After he gets shot, he reflects on his life and the choices he can and has made that led to his death. He needs to come to terms with that wickedness and weakness within himself, so the entire album plays out like he's conflicted - PRIDE/HUMBLE, LUST/LOVE, FEEL/LOYALTY (I think). Obviously that links with the 7 Sins, but I think he's more talking about confronting inner vices to prevent his downfall. On YAH, he talks about The Book of Deuteronomy, which says that 'I have set before you life and death. blessing and curse', linking the album's contradictions together. Basically, it's Kendrick's battle with himself and his faith to prevent his death at the beginning.
