I honestly refrained from doing that for the longest time now because I feel this way about music, the only reason I've said s--- as of late is because other people on this forum don't share that view and are straight up assholes 99% of the time if you don't agree with them that something is bad or good

And I never said people don't share common likes and s---, but to act like it's all universal or something so that it could be objective is ridiculous

ugh Cyreidies still don't understand the difference between subjective and objective. @theg explained it to him better than anyone and dude still doesn't get it.

    Lol, no

You guys are just pretentious c---- that can't grasp or accept the concept that it's not objective because it's too closely tied to your egos and sense of self. There's nothing about it that any of you that have said that I'm not "getting", you're simply wrong.

Shows good business acumen and marketing. Doesn't necessarily mean the artist is good. Also what constitutes a long career? There are a lot of rappers still releasing music and touring with significantly less fame than they had during their peak years.

they way I see it, rap careers go through a life cycle, like any product on a bell-curve type of distribution. The length of this curve can be anywhere from 1 song to 20 (or more) albums, but it always follows a similar pattern.

those rappers that are able to maintain the peak of the curve for longer than usual or that can innovate and create an entirely new curve are the great ones.
