    Ok.... I'll be back to check for the hate. I have a controversial one here;


    Love the way you lie. It was a f---in massive hit. I can see the crossover appeal, don't get me wrong, and it made commercial sense too.

    I don't 'hate the song' at all, but I've never really been too sure what all the fuss is about. The beat kinda plods along with the guitar loop (alex the kid, there's a surprise) Rihanna hook IMO isn't even that great/catchy. I can't speak for everyone but it wasn't one of those hooks for me that constantly gets stuck in the head. Again basic as f---. I know she didn't write it but meeeh.

    Broads and emotional souls like this joint because of the subject matter. People can heavily relate to dysfunctional/abusive relationships.

    Other than that.... as a song, it's real basic, em's not really saying anything ground breaking and its just another twisted/disturbing hip hop love song.

    Em owes Chris Brown here for the sales. If Breezy aint punch Rhi Rhi in the mouth that one time, then half these teenage Rhi Rhi fan-girls that cried over the over that incident wouldn't have given as much of a s--- as they seemingly did at the time.

    I personally much much prefer 'The monster' as a collab between the two.

    People not understanding the thread.. Stop naming s-----y songs that everyone thinks is s-----y.. It's why I named Deja Vu.. I'm well aware the majority of people on here love the song.. It's just ok imo.. That's why I don't understand the hype.. People naming s--- like Kings Never Die and s--- like that nobody thinks those songs are good
