    You cannot escape on foot, ever.

    No one has the stamina to keep up against cops who surround you at every direction. Plus with the resources the cops have it doesn't really matter imo.

    Same thing. Thanks to helicopters there's no way you can escape unless you got a second car or some decoys.

    Plus police have tactics, they can block your car by just moving a couple of inches making it impossible to continue the chase.
