    Except Drake makes radio-tier garbage and Ocean/Kanye actually put out some decent music last year. Can't exactly have your integrity and whine that your music doesn't connect with the lowest common denominator. You want to be McDonalds? Start making s-----y hamburgers. Don't expect the system to cater to you. That's what narcissists think.

    Ocean completely rejects populism in music. Kanye does and still wants their validation.

    I think you should evaluate the possibility that Kanye is just an egotist with a victim complex and not necessarily the martyr his fans like to believe he is.
