Feb 6, 2017 That happened too. He made a joke about Eminem and pills in a meeting. I'll look for a link.
Feb 6, 2017 right at the 14 min mark onwards http://hiphopdx.com/news/id.42269/t...ld-dr-dre-compton-was-wack-pissing-off-eminem
Feb 6, 2017 Interesting...thought Nate Dogg was the best singer/rapper on the hook...would love to hear that track
Feb 6, 2017 “But before he got [to L.A.] me and Em’s last conversation was ‘Dance On It’ was gonna be the [single],” said Stat. “So we had a meeting, it was me, Dre, Em, and Paul [Rosenberg of Shady Records]. So we sitting in there and we trying to figure out the [single]. And Em’s like, ‘Dance On It.’ And what made Em upset is because I was like, ‘I don’t know.’ But from Em’s standpoint, our last conversation was this was the song. But, I had made ‘Here We Go,’ and I thought [it should be the single].” “And I made a joke,” Stat continued, “which I ain’t even gon’ get into that. But I had made a joke in that meeting that made Em upset. And from that point on, me and his relationship was strained. It was totally different. At that point for real [it was like] he had just said f--- it, I’m done. Even though [after my apology] it was [seemingly] all forgiven, [and] he had said it was all good, [but] it was never all good at that point.”
Feb 6, 2017 funny how in this interview he mentions they reocrded my syllables which was leaked by koolo so that song came out around 2006 07
Feb 6, 2017 Thanks, good interview - Stat Quo giving some interesting insight..."Dance on Me" sounds like a "Got Some Teeth" track...bad decision from Stat Quo getting into a fight with Eminem...a featured track with Eminem is the perfect single regardless of how stupid the songs premise is
Feb 6, 2017 I thought Compton was a good album, but we all know he could've done better, but d--- Marshall is cry baby
Feb 6, 2017 well, pretty much confirms what everyone else already knew, Eminem is only surrounded by yesman...no wonder hes releasing amazing music in the last few years. also detox would have been better im sure. happy to hear stat helped on Compton.
Feb 6, 2017 also statquo mentioning that dre has many hits of Eminem featuring nate dog in his vault that will never be release. instead were getting no favors verse....................................... thanks to stat for being open about it, never heard anyone talks about those stuff in details before. First time we hear real info about fire tracks that never got release. sad.
Feb 7, 2017 ID love for the interviewers to ask him what he thinks of post hiatus em music and why is it like that. such a miss opportunity, could we start spamming statquo or smt for him to do an ama or a live fb ama? thatd be great.
Feb 7, 2017 By my side without eminems annoying voice https://myspace.com/acyaboy/music/song/stat-quo-drop-by-my-side-11890443-11691627
Feb 7, 2017 wow, just heard near the end that he says dre has way better unreleased songs in his vault than on Compton. pathetic....
Feb 7, 2017 f--- dre, gave us "Compton" the worst excuse of an album, You record for 16 years for detox, legendary tracks, dre beats, legendary features, probably thousands of songs then you scrap it and throw together Compton, what a joke. I wanted to hear songs like this. This single track would be better than all of Compton put together. That klang klang klang of a dre beat.
