Okay I'm officially done reading about this movie, ruined another small part just now god damnit lol..

Saw it has a 77% rating on rotton tomatoes right now, better than usual for these kinda movies. Probably gonna see this friday afternoon, don't wanna go at night when it'll be busier+probably lots of teens talking away during the movie.

Ending could make or break the whole thing for a movie like this imo, sure you want me to ruin it if you have interest in seeing it?

But yeah I could spoiler tag it or something, just hope people don't get tempted to click it if they were planning on seeing it and don't want it spoiled.

Holy s--- @ the twist in the after credits scene...d--- I never could have seen that coming. Can't really talk about it more than that or I'd ruin it.

Movie was good, not amazing or anything. The acting was great, the final twist is definitely shocking.

i just got back from the seeing this. it's a good movie, that is worth the price of admission. the acting is very good all-around, particularly by the main actor. i like how m. night sprinkled in humor in certain parts of the movie, yet it still didn't take away from the serious nature of the film.

the main actor has the perfect look for the role he's playing in this film, and he does a good job portraying all the different personalities. the film moves at a good pace and i don't think the ending is all that predictable.

Going to see this today. Lowkey expecting his best work with this one.

    Shyamalan is a god tbh.

    1. The Village
    2. The Happenning
    3. Lady in the Water
    4. Signs
    5. The Visit
    6. Unbreakable
    7. After Earth
    8. The Last Airbender

Haven't seen his first three films :emoji_flushed:

After seeing this tonight I'm pretty sure he stated
if he were to ever make a sequel to Unbreakable it would be a villain origin story, half of the audience gasped and said "oh s---" including myself when Bruce showed up knowing what it was. This is probably my second favorite movie of his now and I can't wait for the third film

I really loved it. His best work imo: it's very dense and layered, there's a lot to unpack from it. Super emotional experience.

Went and watched this last night despite never hearing of it (was invited by some friends) and really enjoyed it. I groaned when I saw that Shyamalan was the director/writer but it ended up being really good. I didn't understand that one scene but after having it explained to me it makes sense
I guess I need to watch Unbreakable now?

I just can't believe we watched an entire movie without knowing it's a sequel to a previous movie, the fact that the twist can reveal that is f---in awesome to me, very well done by M. Night. With that said the last 20-30 mins or so was really a lot different than I expected, became a little too super hero-ish to me, but I suppose that makes sense and needed to be done given the final twist.
