    you said it was terrible though. boring is fair, terrible is a far, far stretch.

    sure, if he was going in over a beat for x amount of minutes with sloppy and nothing bars (see campaign speech) i'd agree. but nothing about 2 birds is sloppy in that way.

    the song is boring, sure. terrible, not really.

    not a memorable song because it's formulaic (drake rapping with no hook over a 40 beat)

    but it's also the best rapping we heard from drake since 4pm

    Maybe not terrible but I think it's a bad song, especially in comparison to Fake Love and Sneakin which are both great.

    Haven't even listened to campaign speech and don't plan on it but I'm sure it's even worse.

    I have to listen to Sneakin some more or something I guess cuz that was my least favorite out of the 3 when they dropped.

    I wasn't high on Fake Love either but I've grown to love that song.

    i think you could say it's boring, formulaic, more of the same etc. so if your argument that it is a bad song is rooted in those points, then that's fair.

    but i honestly enjoyed the writing on that song more than any jawn on views even.

    i'm enjoying watching this transition period for drake, because i can slowly see him figuring it out.

    yeah except the writing is actually good on this song, unlike the eminem joints these guys make an argument for.

    the point of 2 birds is to rap over a looped beat, there is no hook or melody incorporated.
    so the central focus is the writing
    which is excellent.

    pretty sound argument unless you can pick that apart

    Definitely better rapping than anything on Views. After No Shopping, Big Amount, and 4PM it's probably his best of the year for me.

    Well Immy is a fa---- and Chad is a Kid Cudi stan and both are buddy buddy with mr mental breakdown himself so it wasn't that much of a loss.

    I think he'll be able to pull back in the people he lost with Views when he drops More Life. Got high hopes for it.

    That's fair, I'm just being a c---- and like comparing drake to Eminem when arguing with you and @Poohdini. Also I can't cosign anything that disses Pusha T. But in actuality I listened once and had no desire to listen to it again until it was mentioned in this thread and found it equally as boring. It has some good lines but it just doesn't work as a song to me.

    Sneakin and Fake Love give me hope this is gonna be way better than Views though.
