I used to get sleep paralysis loads. Never saw anything (as in that black angel thing) but I could move my eyes, but nothing else. Couldn't breath, couldn't scream for help. That's possibly the worst feeling ever.

Funny thing is I don't play football/soccer anymore and hardly exercise, and it no longer happens. I guess the fatter I get the better I sleep.

When I was young, I watched Gremlins for the first time. I had a nightmare about them, jolted up, and I still swear to this day that one of them opened my closet door.
Never ran out of a room quicker.

I can't remember having any nightmares at all, i've never experienced one tbh. I've been lucid dreaming a couple times tho, it was nothing scary i just had super powers and could fly lmao. It felt so real.

    You smoke weed regularly?
Weed usually makes us not dream at all.

No, i've smoked a couple times. Last one was months ago, and i'm not really planning on smoking anytime soon. But since i was younger i always thought it was weird that i dont have nightmares. But i do have regular dreams, like everyday.

    Wrong.
You 100% dream every night, your body by default erases your memories as a means to make you feel refreshed/ready to start a day. Weed can affect short-term memory, which is why you almost never remember your dreams. It's easier to remember your dreams/lucid dream if you don't smoke weed for a few days.

Dreams are a manifestation of your mind projecting sub conscious thoughts.

A nightmare is no different its simply you just experiencing "negative" sub conscious thought projections.

99% of my dreams are nightmares, weird thing (since about 3-4 years ago anyway) is they're always just like a slightly altered reality where something goes wrong and i either end up fighting, hiding, or running from something or someone(s) that want to either capture me or k--- me for some reason or another, and they all seem to take place in the same dream 'universe', just at different points in time
i've actually had a dream where i was shot in the head too, but it was a lot different

i had done something to someone (can't ever remember what exactly) and the person was hunting me down, and at the end of it, they saw me standing in the middle of a road. don't remember what they looked like or anything they said to me, just remember it was really bright and sunny out and that i just gave myself up and asked them to k--- me. I got down on my knees willingly to accept my fate. Then they fired the gun, and i felt it, but it wasn't pain, it was just like pressure for a split second... and then my vision got hazy as f--- and blurred into white and i felt at peace for a moment, and then i woke up

Well, my line of thought was:
Not remembering your dream, can be counted as not dreaming at all? I mean : If a tree falls in the middle of the forest, without anybody hearing it, did it fall at all?
Jeez, I must stop smoking weed aye...
    :hehehe3:
