    Complex is notorious for horrible articles and year end lists. But for a bunch of hypebeasts, I'm surprised they didn't include Flatbush or Westsidegunn in here. Pitchfork didn't either (another s-----y media outlet).

    I'm still sitting here in awe that a bunch of people who get paid to write about music sat down and thought "yeah, looks great!" and published this for thousands of people to read.

    It's like they realized their top five was too safe (Beyonce, Kanye, Chance, Frank, Tribe) and wanted to throw in a curve ball and picked f---ing travis scott. I'm not even mad at half the albums on here but the placement of most of them is so f---ing weird.

    i don't see why you're in awe.

    the people who write reviews for complex are hired because they can write well. they know how to put sentences in the right order and use the correct words.

    complex don't give a s--- about their OPINIONS on how good a bunch of albums are.

    If you think music review websites let any writer review/rate any album they want exactly how they want then you are sorely mistaken. They don't randomly give albums to writers and let them give it whatever rating they want.

    i don't give a s--- who they let review an album. its like i said, they're hired because they can write well. not because complex is oh so concerned about their opinion on the quality of a rap album

    i don't have a problem with people reacting to the list. music discussion would be boring if people didn't talk about what they think is good and what's not. but some of you guys take this s--- too seriously.
