I think sometimes a public statement is subject to a public response.

Regardless if they were close or not, Wayne had the fortitude to say what he said in public, then anyone else should be allowed to share their response publicly as well.

ofc TI can say whatever he wants to whoever he wants but the problem with making it public is that it diverts the topic of discussion within the community from police brutality to a beef that may or may not exist between rappers because naturally that's easier to talk about than racial tensions

in addition it highlights the idea of disconnect within the black community where if TI's goal was to get Lil Wayne onboard with BLM the last thing a movement like that needs is 2 public figures with a fan base like theirs arguing over social media
