I'm going to side with my man @YDB on the opinion that Biggie is overrated. I was wrong to push my Biggie opinion because hey, I shouldn't force people to listen to legends if they don't want to. Hip-hop has a history, it's nice to know but do you have to know it.

Do you have to believe that Biggie and 2Pac were even legends in the first place?

Those who still listen to 2Pac are in their 20's, were born in the 80s or 90s and are basically people who'll favor boom-bap over any experimentation.

I'm tired of old-school hip-hop and it's fans... New school is 10x more interesting and new school does not require you to respect the "legends", especially considering that much of the hip-hop I remember happened in the early 2000s and grew from there.

Move on, the past is done and over with. We're in the present, live in it @T800Killa.

I'm same age as Yachty and I respect legends.Respecting legends in music overall is very important because music saves lives and is inspiring.If you have for example a person who entered Apple company and he is a new dude who wants to bring something new to phone market,it's ok that he doesn't know history about previous iphones,ipads or whatever because even though these products are revolutionary,they aren't "touching" into a person's soul and life in such a deep way.Musical artists do.I don't know if my example was good but whatever I have a point.

Same goes for every genre of music; I'm pretty sure that you could apply the whole thing to newer music because any type of music can save lives and inspire you. I really don't know if you have to listen to the past to save your life...

The Apple anology is shall I put it; f---ing terrible. A device can touch a person's soul and life... In fact it's already proliferated our culture; people get attached to technology the same way as music and trust me, they will f--- with you if you mess up a product that's well known and beloved. I'm pretty sure every geek and nerd would hate you for the analogy.

Please tell me why I should keep debating with you, this is getting tiring?
