    except it was in development long before overwatch

    the material people claim hirez stole was either originally in one of their older games like smite, tribes:ascend or Global Agenda, the precursor to Paladins. Some other material is basic online game features that overwatch did in no way invent, and the rest can be traced back to TF2. Hirez has effectively been developing this since 2005, and they tried to change it when overwatch dropped and appeared to be suprisingly similar.. but they decided to say f--- it and go with their original vision.

    just because something is released before the other doesnt mean its a ripoff. its stupid to think a game studio of hirez size could develop a game like paladins in 1 year to rip off overwatch :renshrug:

    Played it for a couple days and initially had fun, but then it slowly dawned on me the balance/matchmaking system is totally f-----, and so I ended up stopping and then just recently uninstalled it
