Sep 24, 2016 I clearly qualify for this because I'm obviously not a rap fan I've tried listening to 90s rap tried listening to current rap and everything in between and I could never find the genre appealing at all. So agree with Koolo about Eminem having a unique style that brings in a s--- ton of people from different music groups. Whenever I would go to hardcore shows wether it's a backyard show or at a venue I'd see people you wouldn't expect to be wearing Eminem shirts and talking about him.
Sep 24, 2016 Right. It is cool seeing so many people who aren't into rap that like him. Most people that reach his status are unique enough to gain those types of fans.
Sep 24, 2016 It's the way people can relate to him, and reflect his image on themself through his lyrics. It's what drew me to his music to begin with. Which is also why most stans are more obsessive than other rap fans. Not saying it isn't a bit weird.
Sep 25, 2016 I might be the only one who feels this way, but even with all of his success he achiieved over the last 20 years, I"m surprised he's still as relevant nowadays as he's always been. His decline is so drastic and exceptionally regressive, that it tends to be the most polarizing thing tied to his name. At least as it pertains to my opinion on the matter anyway.
Sep 25, 2016 @Koolo is my ak but threads like these are catering to the likes of wpg, nar But it technically only sold 5 million they have never ever actually sold 10 million with an album like Eminem has
