    Jay has a great discography outside of his three classics. American Gangster and Vol.2 are personal classics for me.

    Ehh, I listened to black album the other day when I was working out and I've come to the conclusion it's an overrated album. Some great songs on there but it's not really a classic. There's some filler songs in there I would just assume skip. I might have just grown tired of Jay-Z but some of his stuff has just aged badly.

    Reasonable Doubt is great and it will always be great, Blueprint is very fun & it features Jay at his charismatic prime.. American Gangster is a very good concept album (not a classic tho imo)

    I always felt like Jay-Z is a very talented rapper, very accessible and someone I can play in almost any environment. but he has always been kind of overrated if you take a look at the albums hes actually crafted. I would agree that he has probably 3 albums that I would revisit.

    I'd say American Gangster is a great album and one of the best concept records of the 2000s but I agree that he's overrated as h---
