    Like M Solo said, I think his decline was already happening. '03 had some good moments but he was also becoming less inventive lyrically and less energetic on the mic. The leaks hurt so badly because the well was already drying up. 99-02 Eminem could have suffered the same bootlegging but there would have been a dozen more great tracks to follow.

    Nah believe it or not there were signs even pre 2003 that he was declining.

    I obviously think some of 8 Mile is his best work but.....

    There were a few glimpses in late 02 and 2003.
