the fact that like 20% of white people are racist and like 80% of black people are racist is interesting seeing as how both percentages add up to around the same number of people

Two wrongs don't make a right.

I don't think JMG is racist. He knows I'm black and has never came at me like that throughout the years I've known him. He also knows I'm not some black guy looking for a handout either.

maybe a big problem with race relations is that we discriminate against people who are racist.. even in the case if that person isn't really racist. its still a person and to label them something so extreme is very insulting and its really a double standard. lets say the person is actually a racist, shouldn't we accept that is who they are, and maybe try to help them? my point is society made them that way, its not really their fault and we shouldn't be so judgmental unless they are violent towards other races, there is a difference between stereotyping and hate. unless a hate crime is involved i dont think we should even use that word, its derogatory just like the n word, because it most cases its not true. if they are hateful then it still wrong and ignorant to judge them in my opinion and like a said, a double standard cause you're labeling someone. thoughts?

Love the comparison. Stand up comedy would be another example.

I would imagine the context he used it in was most likely inappropriate. You can be socially inappropriate and not be racist.

My take on the N word:

Personally, I dont like to use the word. The only time I do is when it's in the form of music. I think the issue behind the word is black or white people don't understand the true history of it. It's hard to take the derogatory context out of a word that was used simply for that purpose. Black people have been making the attempt of eliminating that effect within hip hop which I might add didn't start until 1973.

I dont think it's for white people to say whether the word is ok to use or not, but if they are going to use it in a positive or relative manner that are using it in, I think it's a good step in the right direction. I just think white people need to be extra cautious how they use it, because I know I'm not even mentally conditioned to accept any white person calling me a n----- or n---- regardless of the reason. I just don't see a need to condition myself to accept it either.

Do you know that the word n---- wasnt ment to be used for black people. It was actually a monkey/human whose name was a TROGLODYTE NIGER. Which is a hybrid species. And the European states "at best we are the hybrid species" so Europeans were the original Niger.
