Aug 1, 2016 I didn't mean thug btw he's great. But so many try to do the same thing and I like to hear more unique stuff. Not just in hiphop. Agree that relevant shouldn't mean bad -marshall used to be relevant and great as well , just like kanye and others- But yeah on the other hand little kids on here saying Nas or Jay s--- are just as dumb
Aug 1, 2016 I mean, examples? There's a lot of SIMILAR sounds, but that's across all genres throughout all time, and no one's saying Mozarts bad because Bach's compositions sound similar (disclaimer I'm talking out my a--- I don't know enough to say they sound similar but you get the hypothetical). Kids just say this to trigger old heads, no one actually thinks nas is bad.
Aug 1, 2016 If your name starts with Lil and doesn't end with Wayne, you're a meme rapper. Oh and Desiigner
Aug 1, 2016 Example, listen to Jay Z's MCHG. Ignore the average songs, but every song sounds different, as well as many other albums. Compare it to, for example, some Thug or Gucci albums that have the same sound on almost every song. Not saying its bad, just not for me despite the fact that the artist are great on it.
Aug 1, 2016 The new gucci mane album has a lot of diversity in sound imo. Go listen to it its pretty good
Aug 1, 2016 I don't know what to say other than this is flatly untrue. Listen to the first 6 songs on either of their new records and they're all diverse, not only in the way they're delivering their lines but the overall sound of the songs themselves.
