Jun 21, 2016 Hey guys, heres a couple of beats I came up with, to critique myslef, the first one (bicbeat) has a pretty crappy drop when the drums start, im not 100% sure how I can go about making it better, i tried a couple things that didn't work and I was running outta time (was doing this beat for an assignment) so I just went with it! Also I had given mastering a shot for the first time as I'd just learnt about it before! The second beat I came up with in pretty much a night after finding some unused samples in my older projects, so I thought i'd put the sample to use and built the beat around it! I also learnt how to make use of the FL studio step sequencer which I think attributed to having it being finished so quickly! The second one im feeling is really clean but could be missing something, maybe better Vsts for the background violins (only the main melody was sampled) But yee lemme know your thoughts if you liked/hated it and how you think I could make it better! P.s I will be droppin bars over these that might make it to my EP so your c&c is VERY VERY valuable to me!
Jun 21, 2016 i'm having a hard time making out a bassline on either one and the first track is really low volume, but that's about the only things i can think of. sorry i didn't think of more i just rolled out of bed so it may not be very accurate

Cheers fam! was that you that tweeted the beat btw? cheers though! The fact that you listened to this first thing in the morning is satisfactory enough for me!! you da real MVP!! Yeah i think my trial and error with using the limiter on the master bus screwed me over, I had like 5-6 different versions and I think I just screwed myself over! I shall attempt to fix soon P.s Imma peep your trap tape when I get home tonight
