Jun 16, 2016 Sorry but i'm gonna ask you a lot of questions since i'm genuinely curious.. 3. Pt2 - what is the reason for hating Panda? Is it really a bad song or aren't you in the mood for those typa hype tracks? 6 Low Lights - again, do you think it's bad? 7. High Lights - what do you specifically dislike about the newer version? 10. Waves - i don't miss anything on there.. whenever that song comes on i forget about my worries and just enjoy the bliss 0=] 11. FML - funny, i absolutely love those pauses, it's like a moment you can repeat the lines yourself.. i think this would work great for the tour!! 12. Real Friends - funny i think this track gets more love than it should.. other tracks are just as good imo (if not more). It's great tho, don't get me wrong! 13. Wolves - u mean the Mary In The Club - thing? Yeah i see what you mean, but that doesn't bother me, isn't that just a loosened way of looking at religions symbolism? 18. Facts - okay it's super brash and confident.. but i love the lines and they can all be defended to a certain extent Fair criticism bro. You never fail me.
Jun 16, 2016 - Cut Low Lights (or shorten it to a 30 sec intro) - Cut Facts - Fix Kanye's Wolves verse then you've got a certified hood classic on ur hands
Jun 16, 2016 Low lights is that intro to HL right? Don't really count it as a song. I just don't like Panda, and don't think it's really good just catchy I guess Highlights; don't dislike the new one, but I heard a version I love and it's not on the album Waves; yes but with actual verses this could have been enjoyble and really good Fml: maybe, but I prefer his flow on the 2nd verse. And weekend also bothers me here, he could have done more than one generic line over and over I love introspective Kanye songs, that's why I have Real Friends & Saint Pablo as my favorites Wolves verse as a whole except for a few lines. Was a lot better without it
Jun 16, 2016 i think its a tongue in cheek joke and its an interesting continuation of the Leaders and Followers line on New Slaves
Jun 16, 2016 Agree. But honestly my biggest complaint is how all these songs had so much potential, for example the production is great.
Jun 16, 2016 that is my biggest complaint of all time about this album, and why i think it is so disappointing. For example, Waves is one of my favorite beats of the year, and Chris Brown kills it. However, Kanye completely underutilizes the beat and doesn't really bring anything to the track. Famous's first verse was pretty weak and kinda turned me off the song at first. Those are really my biggest complaints as I love most of the other songs, like FML, Real Friends, Highlights, Saint Pablo. Maybe I just expect too much out of rapping Ye in 2016 though
Jun 16, 2016 I don't think Panda is bad, the way it is set up with Kanye's depressed verse leading up to the hyped chorus and adlibs.. it certainly feels like an artistic contrast Highlights - so what do you dislike about the newer version? I know you don't hate it.. but what is less amazing? I just wanna know bro, i'm curious. :P Waves - i think what a lot of hiphop listeners do is confine hiphop to a certain format of verse, verse - chorus - verse, verse - chorus - verse - chorus ... which is just so restricting.. i don't think this track needs anymore verses.. just listen to the open sound of those chords... Amazing! FML - i dunno again, i think you just want a track to follow a certain structure and expected flow which doesn't necessarily help to express certain emotions an artist wants to convey.. also Weeknd does the hook, how can he not repeat himself lol?!? I think they work great together.. it's like a continuing ping-pong of Kanye telling a story and Weeknd conveying the overall thought going through Kanye's mind this whole time. I absolutely love those frustrated vocals and lyrics Kanye does at the end - They don't wanna see me love you! I see you love introspective songs but you don't seem to enjoy the beginning of FSMH pt.2 and the beginning of Wolves.. those are pretty introspective too if you ask me.. Funny this time you think Wolves needed less verses.. i think you want Waves to be like Wolves and Wolves to be like Waves lmao
