It's just that the driving is a bit wonky (not just due to not being GTA-like, they just didn't handle well) and in a game like that its a big downside. The actual gun play took a page out of future soldier which I loved. But wtf is with being an open world crime game based in Chicago and not allowing gun play while driving?

It's been like 3 yrs so maybe that's why I don't remember, but again I didn't/don't see the big deal. Shooting while driving is a must tho. Anyway, watch the video I posted earlier. They mention the driving and other complains people had. They overhauled the driving mechanism

This is either gonna be okay, or another failure.

I liked the concept and all that stuff and the people who designed it are talented, but the online really killed it, and there's a lot of game-breaking glitches.

I'm about done with act 4 and here are my key observations.


- The hacking is a cool new element and with some effort you can really use the ctos to do some cool things


- The story seems very meh... Alot of things are only dove in knee deep and don't really materialize to anything meaningful

- not enough s--- to spend money on...i had everything you could buy when I was 15% finished....the cars and most outfits are lame although all the random street walkers are dresses better then any game I've ever seen


- I like how everyone has their own distinct characteristics and I don't mind the map at all



Overall is a bit of a mess especially with all the pre release hype but theres potential and I'm interested in the sequel

Finished the story last night and meh. The plot sort of bonuses around to much it never lets alot of the characters fully develop instead you see them a few missions and then nothing...

Was kind of surprised when seeing how awful the gameplay was but then I thought should I really be surprised, this is Ubisoft afterall?

It looks EXACTLY like Watch Dogs 1--which is bad enough on it's own and then you pair that with the fact that (like WD1) it'll be SEVERELY downgraded on actual release compared to what we see at E3 because that's just how moneybags Ubisoft is for some odd reason-- this game will be bad.

You would think if anything they could've updated the animations to not look like two console generations ago if they were going to stay with the Watch Dogs 1 mediocrity on the rest of the game. But nope. Animations look like trash. Just what did they even put into this game? A bunch of mediocre psuedo-innovative gameplay features that'll flatline once you actually play the game? Heck, the consumer will be lucky if they're even featured in the game and not cut out by release with no mention from Ubi, just like all the special effects will be.
