I keep forgetting that one is worth listening to because Weezer albums rarely are anymore. But it's surprisingly solid - the best thing they've done since probably Green Album era. It deserves an honorable mention.

    MTY VERY SHALLOW LISTENING

I think the Radiohead album is still growing on me a bit, but I absolutely love James Blake and the album is everything I wanted from him and more. It justifies it's length imo

for me, it was a combination of ye over-perfecting the album and the trainwreck of a rollout, that "ruined" it for me. and the album is still great, but it's not what it could have been with some minor changes imo. we just heard way too many variations of the finalized songs and it left everybody divided on whether or not ye put out what they considered as being "the best" effort possible with the given content.

    1. malibu- anderson .paak
    2. blackstar- david bowie
    3. a moon shaped pool- radiohead
    4. untitled unmastered- kendrick
    5. the life of pablo- kanye (maybe?)

james blake might be #5 but i think it's too long for it's own good plus i enjoyed s/t and overgrown more anyways. bottomless pit is a contender too but i definitely need more time with it. overall a very solid year so far--praying that madgibbs drops sometime this summer too!
