    Jay Z's beat selection was pretty bad post reasonable doubt, not to mention those chipmunk vocals he uses in hooks *cringe*

    5 syllable rhyme scheme carried on for 8 bars.

    While that verse by Pac, at best, has 3 syllable rhyme patterns carried on for maybe 4 bars lol.

    Do you listen to music or do you just skim through it?

    And if you're talking flows and such, Jay Z has so many that FAR surpasses ANYTHING Pac has done.

    breh this is not impressive besides some of the stuff u bolded do not even rhyme with each other.

    like what does di or tors in directors rhyme with in that phrase

    besides the fact u don't know what u talking about pac rhymed more then 6 syllables per bar in that verse i posted.

    yeah, jay-z was better at rapping, i get that.

    but dude, 2-pac was more unique than jay-z. no, he wasn't the greatest when it comes to mic skills, but he reached the listener like no other hip hop artist i can think of.

    i don't know, to me he was just better. plus look at all he accomplished by only 25 years of age. jigga man didn't even release his first album until he was like 26 haha

    just because Tupac reached you as a listener more than any other artist doesn't make him the best, we all have an artist like that. if you can admit Jay-z is better at rapping than Tupac that's all that rly needs to be said

    I grew up on Pac's music, definitely connected with it when I was younger. Me Against The World might be my personal favorite album, alongside It's Dark and h--- is Hot by DMX. They both have a lot of nostalgia for me.

    I used to support Pac like crazy too. He's probably one of my favorite rapper to listen to, although as I get older, I listen to him less and less, much like Eminem.

    In saying that, Jay Z is flat out a better rapper than 2Pac. I feel like Nas/Jay Z/Biggie are the top 3 rappers OAT.

    I do think Pac gets underappreciated by modern fans though
