Apr 21, 2016 Nice, those look a lot more involved than anything I've made. Although a site I'm working on has a mysql database set up for user logins, to order medical marijuana products wholesale, so I'm learning a bit
Apr 21, 2016 Did you not see the thread which included all the functions 8leaks will actually have? I created it a couple months ago.
Apr 21, 2016 Because I feel like you missed it. I'll repost. Think Last.fm mixed with iTunes music, Mixed with SoundCloud, Mixed with HotNewHipHop and my already existing websites. - Much like SoundCloud we're going to have 126KBPS MP3's for streaming but going to have all 320KBPS MP3's for downloading (I am sure you know how valueable those are.) - We're going to have a user system and a chatbox on the website (Chatbox won't display unless you're logged in) and you can't login unless you follow us on twitter (Everything is done through twitter account wise.) - The accounts are going to track EVERYTHING you do on the site, your latest 20 searches, every song you ever clicked on, every download link you clicked on ever. Now this is where s--- gets insane. Users who have listened to 20 seconds of a song will gain 0.01% experience this is 0.01% out of 100% for each level, after a user has reached level 10 he will NOT have advertisements on the website. And he will have direct downloads, meaning he won't ever have to visit sketchy file sharing links, the MP3's will just happen directly no hassle. If you're an artist on the come up, getting your music on the site is literally as simple as posting a link in a submission form (if you have over 2000 followers) the song will get published instantly automaticially with your Cover Art, Artist Name, Genre, and Song Link on the site. It gets even more complex though, I took this idea to the fullest and made sure NOBODY would ever struggle with tagging any songs, so every song we post will have a cordinated pattern for ID3 tags this means everything tagged FLAWLESSLY. If you're loving the site, you will have the option to create a playlist from your favorite songs with NO limits on the playlist, no advertisements throughout the playlist, and continued audio play on Mobile. But here's where we get back to the 126KBPS streaming, if we made users stream 320KBPS every time they listened to a song that would use up SO much data, but every song you listen to is = to watching 1 second of a youtube video on your mobile data, so pretty much NON EXISTANT, meaning it's perfect for going to the gym or for a run or what ever it is you might be doing at that time. On every song page there will be a wikipedia portion from LAST.FM API so if it's a Young Thug song for example, it will have a bio for Young Thug plus every song he has on our website below, after your first song finishes it will continue onto the other songs he has on our website. If you're not following us on twitter, you will have to wait 15 seconds to download a song where twitter followers have it instantly. The community matters to me, they've made my dreams come true I wanna make this experience better for EVERYONE.
Apr 21, 2016 That diamond is standard from Fa-Fa Awesome which means you're maybe seen it before. http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/diamond/ Lot's for sites uses Fort Awesome.
Apr 21, 2016 I might leak the entire automated process so you guys can use it to create your own music blog.. I don't know how many people have interest in making a music blog though.
Apr 21, 2016 @Loyalty are you familiar with Simple_Html_Dom or dom parsing with PHP? If not, I can teach you.
Apr 21, 2016 wow, that sounds awesome. I like how it's involved with twitter. are you going to charge for the service at some point or is following on twitter the one catch? also the mockups look cool, just saw the other thread about it. Nah I'm not familiar with that at all, tbh I don't even know what it's used for haha
Apr 21, 2016 I guess I will teach you guys how to use simple_html_dom for anybody who is interested in becoming a coder but simply put is too d--- lazy. I will make a demo mock-up scraping content from 8leaks.to I give anybody permission to use the following 2 files provided they use it for learning purposes ONLY. 1. Let's create our structure similar to HTML a simple_html_dom structure can be used over and over again with very minimal changes (This is the old way of doing it the new way is much to advanced to explain to a bunch of people who know nothing about coding to begin with.) Should look something similar to this. PHP: <?php $html = file_get_html('http://8leaks.to'.$page); foreach($html->find('a') as $element) { print '<br><br>'; echo $url = ''.$element->href; }?> Now at the very top of this document include your file for simple HTML dom using your direct path for your server mine goes as displayed below. PHP: include('/home/clacks/public_html/8leaks.to/t/simple_html_dom.php'); You can see the progress so far here.
Apr 21, 2016 What's happening currently on the documentation page is it's pulling an array of all the PHP: foreach($html->find('a') as $element) (A elements) also known as Code: <a href=""> elements for people who are a little familiar with HTML but not completely. Our goal now is to make it only target the a href elements from links that are directed towards a post. So we will change it from PHP: foreach($html->find('a') as $element) to PHP: foreach($html->find('.home .song-container a, .embed-container a') as $element) @Loyalty And now this should return just the results for each post.
