@Narsh i would go out on a limb and say that odb's first is one of the four or five best wu-tang albums, and he's proven more influential than anyone expected in the '90s, but it's a huuuuuuuuge stretch to have him at ten

The problem with that s--- is that we have to take impact, influences and all that s--- into consideration... which means some of us might feel forced to include rappers who are being praised as goats even though we don't f--- with their music.

I know its weird but I'm not a big fan of biggie and not having him on my list means I'm ignoring what he has done for this genre.

I used to have Raekwon in my top 10 but overtime ODB personality and presence on the mic drew me to his work more than anyone else from wu

If I was better versed in ghosts material he might've been up there as well. And Pacs not on my list for the same reason -- ignorance

But yeah I'll admit ODB was personal bias seeping in for sure, and his influence/uniqueness being the key factor

"he is famous"? the early stuff doesn't hold up and the late stuff sucks.
facts of the case aside, can you imagine how different the conversation would be if the case had happened ten years later?
yeah i mean ghost is a no-brainer, you gotta get woke on him. odb is great tho

not trying to be a d-ck, but i don't get how someone could be a fan of hip-hop and not biggie. he's the only person living or dead to master every aspect of rapping.

I've heard supreme and ironman and both are great obviously

It's just this thug influenced phase I'm in that has me drawn to ODB I guess.
