and i think thug should take lyor's advice. that's the 1 thing holding him back. digits would be so much better if it wasn't just an amazing hook with average thug versesMTY, Kold, BoolinNdaBondo and 2 others like this. - Mar 24, 2026

just finished watching the whole episode. decent watch. the discussion in OP got intense
lyor: "right now kanye west is making over a million dollars a show, how much are you making SON?"
thug: "50 f---in thousand!"
they played a lil bit of fetty's verse on Birthday Song (working title) and lyor added a new 300 artist Conrad Sewell to the song but he hadn't told thug or fetty at the time of filming. they ended the episode with lyor showing thug the new version to get his approval (conrad's vocals sounded nice from the clip they played). thug's response was "you know what? i don't think it's a bad song. i think that i've heard mine's too much, to the point that anybody else on it i'ma be like 'nah i don't like it.' but the voc-- who is that?" lyor told him it was his artist conrad and thug replied "i'm gonna do you a favor and i'm gonna let you keep him on it. but, i, he's not gonna be on top of me. you should have him under me." then they agreed to go to the studio and do thug's vocals
