Be honest if it does just say or is it the opposite do u like the fact u are going against the grain and happy to not like such a gigantic popular iconic artist?

Because of his popularity the level of it on a global scale it is pretty much unheard of to say u not a fan of his music in the real world outside internet blogs like this

This thread is nothing to do with sales relating to quality of music so don't even bother posting record sales and popularity does not = great music

If u don't think his music is amazing u are entitled to that opinion even if your opinion is in the over whelming tiny minority. This thread is simply based on wether his popularity bothers u and if u are honest enough to admit this

I have a question for you @ConspiracyGang If Eminem's next album flopped & sold only 200-300k 1st week how badly would it bother you?

All anyone should care about, when it comes to any form of entertainment, is how good the quality is to them, and how it effects them listening, watching, or experiencing it.

None of these artists are paying my bills or getting me laid, so their sales and popularity have no effect on me.

The honest answer is it would bother me a lot but if liked the album and enjoy it that is the main thing

But Eminem and popularity go hand in hand like Scobby Doo and Shaggy this might sound like a tongue in cheek comment but the truth is Eminem and popularity it's something that just goes it's all we know

Young Thug is underground with a core hood following the numbers he done with Slim Season 3 may very well be the numbers he does his whole career or even less. He is my fave current rapper it doesn't bother me

Eminem is a global icon and 1 of the most popular, successful, mainstream, pop artist of all time across all genres. His popularity is unmatched by any artist from his generation

Eminem is the epitome of popularity when it comes to a white rapper, he will always appeal to the major demographic. This is a statistical fact and anyone being bothered by doesn't have a good grip on the concept of allure.

However, it isn't entirely due to his physical appeal and image. He did display an incredible amount of skill early in his career and a fair amount of artistic range e.i. he was one of the first mainstream solo rappers to make music that wasn't laughable. He was also one of the first to have a substantial amount of credibility behind his name, being co-signed by Dre and all.

He was in the perfect position to be as popular as he is today. He was the muse the industry needed in order to showcase black music to a much larger, white audience.. very similar to Elvis.

    Struggle critic headass.

As for Eminem to most people I know he's famous the way McDonald's is famous you like it occasionally you don't mind it if that one guy (always that one guy) suggests it but you're not gonna go out of your way for it.

This is not a tongue in cheek thread. Yes many non fans could give a flying f--- about his popularity, record sales, grammy awards, wealth

But u lying to your self if u think there are not many non fans who are bothered by and hate his popularity. People respect honesty if 1 can be honest about it admit then that is respectable

His popularity doesn't bother me in the slightest, I couldn't care less whether he sells 10 copies or 10 million

I am slightly bothered by how many of his fans seem to think popularity is some kind of indicator of quality, but it's not something that keeps me up at night

I care less about his popularity and more about his music. He is and always will be my favorite artist of all time. I don't care if he fills up the entire Wembley Stadium all by his own. As far as he will make songs (doesn't matter even if it's corny) imma count on him. At least that way i could get to listen to Em's quality of music rather than most of these wack rappers out there.

Also many people saying Phenomenal was one of the worst songs of new em. To all of them i wanna say "F.U.C.K. Y.O.U" spell it right. It's a massacre for these wackass beat thirsty rappers.
