"Work" is probably one of the best songs from CCV3. I don't know if you comissioned or bought it but the beat works exceptionally well here and the lyrics are like a combination of Future's and Thug's. This is exceptionally mellow and the piano and synths work together to provide a sort of harmony; I can see why @Cyreides thinks of this as his favorite song. I however am a fan of the trap style so I can't wait to see what the other tracks bring. Good sign when the second track bangs, gives me hope for the rest of the project.

On the real tho i like this mellower s---. It suits ur voice better than contorting ur vocals on sum thug s--- do imo.
Flows cool on this too. Like i said i like the mellow s--- for u more and i kinda dug the harmonizing u were going for too. Didn't like the intro, this was cool tho

thanks man im glad you and cyreides f--- with it. i was pretty insecure about it releasing it

word man i feel you lmao. this plays more like a template or reference track than a real song

but ive never really tried to sing and im not a natural at it (which sucks because i sang a good amount as a kid, and my dad is a fantastic singer/still performances when he can). so i think -- since im not releasing any more projects for a minute -- ill work on my singing and more s--- like this. but go in it with a set lyrics and s--- and not freestyle as much/wing it you know

and word didnt like the intro huh? i feel you -- i think the tracklist i have is great tho. like if u liked the intro but hated work, then you'll love the next 2 tracks etc. then it switches up again to a different style etc. basically, there's a lot of everything

since you liked this those, i think you'll dig PartyNextDoor when we get there. And Last Nug.


the next 2 songs are probably the most fully formed songs on here tho. so we'll see how you feel about em

@Narsh for sure. I could tell u had the right notes in your head just didnt really try to hit em. Still sounded cool but really coulda been fire with the flow n the lil melody. Ill check the rest as u post tho.

d--- 'work' can be really really good if you keep working on it (no pun intended lol ). i think it drags a little for the last 45 secs and there's definitely a few notes that you miss, but it's definitely my favorite thing you've done so far!

its as rough around the edges as this but, but i like the vibe on it more. its like an upbeat autotune r&b track about sitting at home alone all the time smoking weed (and it goes into the last song, "the last nug" whew im a genius ). weird description i kno

glad you liked it tho man. i hate that even w more effort than usual my s--- still sounds so f---ing rough and like reference tracks lol. well...actually the more rap oriented ones (like the next few) are the most compelete tracks ive ever made so im lying/being hard on myself. its the fact that im trying a new style with tracks like work that makes them seem so unfinished i think

just like when i wasn't as comfortable rapping the trap kind of stuff and everything id put out would sound half-assed unfinished, and it slowly improved over time. just gotta work on it
