Well you should've been tipped off at encore was a solid album. What the f--- are you guys listening to? Having 7 good and a slew of worse than bad songs isn't a solid album. Recovery - that's a solid album. Encore? That's a bad album that utterly wasted 5-7 good songs

The only songs from Encore anyone really f---s with are Like Toy Soldiers. Mosh & The Bonus Tracks...cmon. Mockingbrid & Never Enough are nice though too.

I wasn't even gonna comment on this because these x vs y threads are getting annoying. But Eminem has one of the most delusional fanbases of all time. I f----- with him when I was a teenager he still has those occasional good songs like airplanes but his latest efforts have been utter garbage

Have you heard the album bro? 6/10 is generous.. Maybe I'm expecting the higher standard we generally get from Kanye but there's no way that's an 8 or even close. I'd give something like TPAB an 8, and I'm not just basing it off critical acclaim. I'd say the general public has a higher influence on how an album is regarded, and going off popular consensus it was accurately dubbed a disappointment. The ye stans are easily in the same boat when it comes to defending the idiot/subpar rapper Kanye has become.

I'm always a big advocate for "music is 100% subjective and you can love/hate whatever you want for any reason" but I don't see how someone could say TLOP is better then Encore...

Eminem on encore is a much better rapper than kanye on his best album, smh

No one will argue Eminem at his height is a better rapper, that's silly. But Kanye generally doesn't allow s-----y horrible songs to be on his albums.. 70 percent of encore is painfully bad. To the point people thought it was a joke when released..

i like a good amount of tracks from encore tbh

that still doesn't change a thing. it's a terrible project. eminem's been terrible since before my balls dropped. and even his first 3 albums aren't as flawless as they're made out to be.


kanye's discog is 5 trillion times better than Em's and this thread should be deleted/op banned

Encore is one of the worst albums ever made. It's so bad that the few good tracks are incredibly overrated.
TLOP obviously isn't a masterpiece, but at least it's not embarrassingly terrible.
