All I Think About is a chore

GOF is cool but I don't think it aged the greatest. Though I did listen to it again for the first time in a while yesterday and thought it was pretty good.

but idk. I like KND and Fine Line better.

mastering every technical aspect of this rap s---

Not a fan of Kings Never Die but Fine Line was OK. I didn't mind it. The last verse is a bit of a mess, but I kind of like how he flowed on it for the first two verses.

Kind of the same story for Legacy too. I really liked the first two verses of Legacy.

I don't really think that's the case when I hear his music, but if that's your view, that's fine. I think he sounds unsure of himself when he raps, thats what it sounds like, to me anyways.

I have respect for Eminem, even if his albums aren't up to my standard for him. I've been disappointed by his music for a while, but I respect the fact that he actually tries now.

Which is something that I had a HUGE issue with him from 04-08. So, I can't complain completely. I'm glad he isn't using that lazy a--- flow he used to use when he was drugged up, talking about farts and shi--ing.

Legacy is ruined by those terrible lines in the last verse. Other than that I like it. Guts Over Fear 2nd verse is pretty good imo, same with parts of KND. Fine Line I think is good too, All I Think About has a s--- beat so only listened once and deleted it

I lowkey loved Ricky Ticky Toc. And I was a huge hater of Encore.

Let me be clear, no matter how "bad" or "average" MMLP2 or his stuff gets from here on out, it'll never reach my disdain for Encore or songs like Fack or My Ballz.

Legacy was so good when I first heard it. I loved the distortion to his voice, the beat, the rhyme patterns that told the story. It was a really solid song until the last like 10-12 bars lol. I thought he started forcing the rhyme scheme a bit too much in the third verse.

can I just say it's amazing how different his voice sounds on every album?

    Nasally/Cartoony SSLP
    Regular Voice MMLP
    Powerful TES
    Drugged Encore
    Raspy ReUp
    Accent Relapse
    Modern-TES Recovery
    Modern-MMLP MMLP2

The last two aren't exactly accurate descriptions but Recovery sounded like he was trying to imitate his TES sound, and MMLP2 he was attempting some of the s--- on MMLP.

Relapse had some of the best production of his career, imo. I was just really not a fan of his accent. His flow was on point though, the entire album. My Mom and Deja Vu are great songs.

Hello and Same Song and Dance could've been great without the accent.

Must be the Ganja's 2nd verse is :banderas:

Insane, although it was uncomfortable, was one of the only instances where Eminem has taken a true chance (aside from Bad Guy). I respect that song for pushing boundaries, although it makes me cringe with the content. I still thought it was really original though.

Kim has the same effect to me.
