    he'll always be remembered as just another pop star, for his 99-05 stint and the 10-13 era. as far as rap goes, he's definitely in the top 50 for me, but dropping steadily.

    This mindset is too temporary. Eminem's established himself as a living music legend whether you agree with it or not. It will take extraordinarily special rappers to meet his level who have been hit makers and constantly impacting pop culture for well over a decade, way too early to throw thug kevin gates or even kendrick in that conversation.

    No because rappers like Kanye West, Kevin Gates, Young Thug etc. will never be highly regarded by a majority of the hip-hop community. May be not so much Kanye but the other two for sure.
