it's probably just the specific instruments in them you used

cause i use nexus almost exclusively, but i know there's a s--- load of stuff in it that sounds cheesy or cheap, and i actively try and avoid it unless i'm going for a weird 80s synth vibe for something, and i don't know how you are about tweaking the presets on the instruments and eqing them, but you could either not be cutting enough of their bad frequencies out, or not tweaking them enough. Or something, idrk

After listening to the full thing, i have to agree with Cyriedes. Alot of the sounds are very stock sounding. I think if you were to find alternative vsts/sounds you could definitely improve the overall tracks tenfold. You have alot of potential, just play around with more sounds & you're set to go
