    he wasnt trolling. if he was trolling then he got BigCountry too -- and you know taylor is more levelheaded than me lol

    he's just an idiot, and following up that gay/bisexual s--- he started making homophobic posts/jokes about thug and now here we are. i cant believe i would get in more trouble for engaging with him than him for being awful in the first place

    thug's run from 2013 to now contains 1017 Thug, Tha Tour pt. 1, Barter 6, Slime Season 1 and Slime Season 2

    quality wise, its a better run imo

    obviously, commercially, Eminem's run is in a different league

    To respond to the thread, which I haven't.

    Airplanes, I'm Shady, Words Are Weapons, Revelation, Goodbye To Hollywood, Hailie's Song and like 15 other Eminem songs I probably prefer over almost any Thug song.

    But a lot of his older music (and 80% of his new stuff) is either bad or very forgettable while a lot of Thugs stuff is interesting at the very least. So yeah I would get it if people vote for either one of them but as far as their whole catalog, Thug is way more consistent and even if he's hit or miss to me, 'eminem and not even close' is a r-----ed statement.

    So yeah, all these things together I'm going with thug, altough I think prime em was great.

    but yeah i agree with the rest of your sentiments

    crazy how thug, in like 3 years, has a bigger catalog than em in over a decade, but still maintains a higher level of consistency.

    Eminem never released free tracks like every week. Thugs work ethic >>>

    I love Airplanes tbh. His delivery is great and I love the lyrics. One of the rare verses around 2010 that didn't have cringe worthy lines (and 3/4 recovery songs)

    tbh... the most recent eminem song that reminds me of his old work is "careful what you wish for"

    It's not his most lyrical track or his best song, but the delivery and flow just reminds me of vintage Em:sweatt:

    and just because i think thug is a better rapper, doesnt mean i dont like any eminem songs any more lol

    a lot of songs from his prime i like (even if i dont listen to em much)

    murder, murder, k--- you, im back, just dont give a f---/still dont give a f---, as the world turns, etc

    It really is strange than Eminem is still doing the Pop Hook/Rap Verses formula still since it has been played out since about 2011. Its just lazy & still using generic beats too. Eminem is such a safe artist scared of trying anything new.

    You mean from around 2010? A few good or great songs surrounded by s-----y ones like everything from 2004-2015.
    Yeah just mentioned a few, there are some more (also from his earlier stuff) but Deja Vu is a masterpiece. Perfect storytelling combined with a goat hook. And can't ignore how amazing the beat is, props to Dre.

    Haven't listened to a full eminem album since mmlp2 dropped tbh, just like 15-25 individual songs (from all his albums/features) that still sound great to me now.

    its about that. i just don't find him exceptional

    for him being so "special" he sure doesn't have a whole lotta ppl convinced. young thug is polarizing.

    back in the day when eminem was great the praise for him was much more clear-cut/unanimous.

    that's another difference between the 2
