I thnik it's a great plan. Unless she's into that kinda thing, you'll likely turn her off and scare her away. just be carefull she might be into it and follow through by pulling out her carrot strap on. then you're f-----, literally.

Are you 100% sure she saw you the time with the dildo? She could have been looking in the general direction of the door but more focused on other things to really notice?
Could be that she is just a bit bored and trying to add some excitement into her life? Try to ignore the feelings she is provoking in you, there is so much at stake, your missus, family dynamics. If it gets too much you might need to discuss it with. Take her out for a coffee to do so. If she is trying to tempt you and you try to talk about this s--- at home I could see it going badly.
